<B>Fr. 95b $10 1863 Legal Tender PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.</B></I> A very handsome type that has all the qualifications needed for the Superb grade save for its centering. The top face margin is a hair close--and that was clearly the grade limiting factor with PMG, as every other aspect of this lovely type note clearly qualifies for the Superb designation. The colors of both the papers and inks are as bright as the day the note was made. Very few notes of this design type earn the EPQ qualifier that PMG placed on this note. Aging is one of the problems frequently encountered, as are edge splits, on this thin-papered issue--this note is completely free of both.
