<B>Fr. 953b $20 1914 Red Seal Federal Reserve Note PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.</B></I> One of the nicest Red Seal Twenties that we have had the pleasure of handling. Although 81 examples of this Friedberg number are known, there are very few in high grade. This PMG 66 is the highest graded PMG or PCGS piece to have reached the auction block. We sold it for $23,000 in September of 2007, and think it quite likely to surpass that number tonight. PMG has graded 35 Fr. 953b's, with this and three others at this level, and none higher. The margins and colors are spectacular, and the note has earned a double positive from PMG, bearing both, "Exceptional Paper Quality & Embossing."
