Fr. 824 $20 1915 Federal Reserve Bank Note PMG Extremely Fine 40. With a census of 32 pieces, this Chicago District is the second-most common of any of the Twenty Dollar Federal Reserve Bank notes. Tom's note is already on the census, although this will be its first trip to public auction since September of 1989, when Tom acquired it at a Hickman and Oakes sale. As a high-end circulated example of one of the more common numbers (and in Twenty Dollar Federal Reserve Bank Notes, 32 is common), this is a perfect piece to represent the type.
From The Thomas M.
