Fr. 817 $10 1915 Federal Reserve Bank Note PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ. This is the only common Kansas City District $10 FRBN. Track & Price indicates 84 examples are known, with Tom's already on the list. There is a long run of uncirculated pieces in that total, and this note is part of that run. PMG has graded Twenty examples of this Friedberg number, including four others at this 66 level, but none higher. The "Exceptional Paper Quality," accolade that has been given this note was clearly well deserved, as the outstanding quality is easily visible through the third-party holder. A wonderful example of this rare type. In January of 2007, we sold another PMG 66 from this run for $10,925, and we would expect this note to easily surpass that level tonight.
From The Thomas M.
