Fr. 811 $10 1915 Federal Reserve Bank Note PMG Extremely Fine 40. Tom's new note to the census brings the count for this rare Atlanta District number up to six. This is the highest graded to date, and will very likely remain so, as no raw note has been reported to be higher grade than this. The rubber-stamped signatures are dark blue and most attractive, and this problem-free XF would be desirable as a Type Note even were it not the major rarity that it is. The most recent sale of this number was a raw XF 40 which we sold in September of 2006 for $9775. On a massively hotter market for this rare type today, we would expect that number to be left in the dust.
From The Thomas M.
