<B>Fr. 809 $5 1918 Federal Reserve Bank Note PMG Very Fine 25.</B></I> Only seventeen examples, a figure which includes Tom's note, are listed in Track & Price for this number. Interestingly, although Fr. 809a gets all the "press," this basic Fr. 809 is actually slightly scarcer. Another rather strange anomaly for this number is that it virtually never appears at public auction. Only three notes have sold since 1991, with the most recent a raw VF 20 which we sold in February 2004. That note, which had a faded overprint, realized $2357. This VF 25 should more than double that figure.<BR><I>From The Thomas M.
