<B>Fr. 372 $20 1890 Treasury Note PMG Choice Very Fine 35.</B></I> An extremely good-looking high end VF that appears to us would be equally at home in a 45 holder. Only one or two very minor folds can be seen on this well margined, wonderfully bright Large Brown Seal Fancy Back Treasury Twenty. The only high-grade examples known of this number are five pieces from the first pack, which range from AU to Superb. Below that, the census rolls off the table, with most of the known examples grading 25 or less. Although this note is listed on the census (as an XF), it has no previous auction record.
