Fr. 358 $2 1891 Treasury Note PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. Fr. 357 is the only common 1891 Treasury Deuce. Both the 356 and 358 are considerably scarcer. This 358 is represented in the census by only 122 examples. There are lots of high-end pieces up through the 63 grade, but at 64 and above it becomes extremely scarce. PMG has graded 26 Fr. 358's, only six of which grade 63 and over, with only this note and one other at the 65 level and none above. PCGS has graded twelve Fr. 358's. Only two of them were uncirculated. This 65 EPQ is a gorgeous note, with incredible color, excellent margins and strong eye appeal. It has received the two positive PMG comments, "Exceptional Paper Quality" as well as "Great Embossing."
From The Thomas M.
