<B>Fr. 310 $20 1880 Silver Certificate PCGS About New 50PPQ.</B></I> The most recent Track & Price census indicates a total of 41 examples known for this Friedberg number. Neither of the major grading services has yet to certify an uncirculated example, and they may never. The T & P census indicates the existence of a single unc, but it has yet to be seen by the services. This 50 PPQ is the highest graded 310 from PCGS; AU is also the highest grade that PMG has yet seen. This note is a beauty, with obvious fresh, original surfaces and much of the look of a perfect Gem. Through the holder, we can see nothing but a few minor corner-tip bends that seem to hold this beauty from far higher grade. Most importantly to Type Note collectors, neither PMG nor PCGS has graded <I>any </B></I>1880 Twenty Dollar Silver in <I>any </B></I>of the uncirculated grades. This AU is simply one of the finest notes available, not just for this number, but for the five-number type.
