<B>Fr. 309 $20 1880 Silver Certificate Fine.</B></I> There are a few repaired edge splits, but this scarce number has retained good color and is quite well margined. About fifty examples are known in all grades combined. These Stephen Decatur 1880 Silver Certificates have the striking dark brown back that distinguishes this entire series, the only series of U.S. currency that used this color.
