This interesting moniker arises from the shape of the frame around the head of Thomas A. Hendricks, Vice President of the United States for only a few months in 1885 &#40;he died in office&#41;. The 1891 series reverse has more open space within the design than the more ornate 1886 series &#36;10 silver certificates. This denomination was printed in conjunction with the Martha Washington &#36;1, William Windom &#36;2, Ulysses S.
