This note is beautifully fresh and totally original, with lots of boldly evident embossing. The colors are spectacular and the only thing separating it from the full Gem designation is the left face margin, which although rather tight, is clear of the note at all points. On a different design type such as a Windom or Tombstone, a side margin this close would seriously affect the value. But the side margins on this design were far smaller to begin with, and this single close margin does not manifestly affect the appearance or the value of this crinkly original Robert Morris Silver Certificate.
