<B>Fr. 288 $10 1880 Silver Certificate PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ.</B></I> Well under a hundred examples of this Friedberg number are known. PMG has graded nine examples, with just a single piece grading higher than this lovely Choice New specimen. The note is very well margined, which is quite typical of the notes that Tom has chosen for his collection, regardless of grade. This one, along with its excellent margins and good color, exhibits plenty of grade, falling just a hair short of the full Gem designation. The note has the all-important "Exceptional Paper Quality," comment, which is particularly meaningful on an 1880 Silver, as these are seldom found with good originality.<BR><I>From The Thomas M.
