Fr. 260 $5 1886 Silver Certificate PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. At last year's Memphis show, a PMG Fr. 260 just one point higher than this piece realized over $35,000. While this beauty is unlikely to reach that level, it could come fairly close. The colors are outstanding, and the original embossing has earned the note PMG's coveted "Exceptional Paper Quality" comment. Save for the single PMG 66 referred above, this is the highest PMG graded Fr. 260 to reach the auction block. We would expect this beautiful note to push handily past the $25,000 mark.
From The Peter Gamble Collection.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
