<B>Fr. 25 $1 1875 Legal Tender PMG Choice Very Fine 35.</B></I> A truly rare Friedberg number, with only 29 examples of this Series "E" Ace enumerated in the Track & Price census. This 35 is well into the top half of the census, with the majority of notes known grading from Good to low-end Very Fine. This piece has a very minor restoration, which PMG has noted, but there is no paper rebuilding or paint involved, and the note has the full appearance of the solid high-end VF it is. The most recent auction appearance of a similarly-graded Fr. 25 was the PCGS VF 35 which we sold for $4887 in September of 2006.<BR><I>From The Thomas M.
