Fr. 245 $2 1891 Silver Certificate PMG Superb Gem Unc 67 EPQ. This is the slightly scarcer of the two Windom numbers and it's a real beauty. This is serial number 38, a note whose history can be traced all the way back to an Abe Kosoff price list of the early 1950's. The note has gorgeous margins, impeccable color and ideal original surfaces with easily-seen embossing. This is one of the early Windoms that has the deep blood red seal that helps make these notes so attractive. PMG has commented that this example maintains "Great Embossing". A PCGS 68PPQ serial number 36 on the same series realized over $20,000 in our Long Beach auction last year.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
