<B>Fr. 244 $2 1886 Silver Certificate PCGS Gem New 66PPQ.</B></I> Fr. 244 is not a particularly rare note with well over 100 examples enumerated in the Track & Price census. In the higher grades, it is far less available than the Red Seal Fr. 242. Track & Price auction results show that only two PMG/ PCGS examples of this number have sold over the 64 grade. Both were PCGS, a 66, which sold for $10,925 at Memphis 2007, and a PCGS 67, which we sold in September 2006 for $13,800. This note has incredible margins, perfect color, and the important PPQ designation.
