We have seen numerous examples of this star in the low to middle grades, and a fair number of "wannabe uncirculated" examples or notes that claimed to be uncirculated, but this example is the first $10 North Africa star that has been labeled as gem. It is vividly colored. As a star, it is a major rarity, and the only piece we know of with all of the attributes for true gem status.
