PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ.</B></I><BR>According to the United States Treasury Department a total of 342 $5,000 Small Size notes are still unredeemed but far fewer than that are known in currency circles. We can only speculate how many were destroyed without being checked off the government's register. This piece is a real standout since so many high denomination notes have been pressed and "dolled up" to satisfy collectors. The paper originality exhibited here is nothing short of stunning and is plainly visible through the holder. A colorful lime green overprint remains as bright as it was the day it was printed. All of the attributes are nothing short of Gem quality, including the margins.
