<B>Fr. 2201-K* $500 1934 Federal Reserve Note. PMG Extremely Fine 45 EPQ.</B></I><BR> This becomes only the third replacement known and second finest from this difficult to locate district. Just two examples are listed in the "<I>Sullivan High Denomination Census</B></I>." The paper is very bright and the originality is evident through the PMG holder. It's nicely margined and well centered with plenty of embossing noticed. Rare stars are certainly difficult to estimate as they appear at auction so infrequently. This note is one serial number below the highest known reported in the Schwartz & Lindquist guide.
