<B>Fr. 190b $10 1864 Compound Interest Treasury Note PMG Very Fine 25 NET.</B></I> The common number of the $10 Compound Interest Treasury Notes and a wonderful piece for type. The NET grade is the result of a "Hole Repair", which is not much larger than a pinhole and quite well done. The bronze on this piece, unlike almost all notes of its type, is fully bright and the colors of the piece are spectacular--so much so that PMG has added "Great Color". Examples in about this grade have been realizing $6000-$8000, but even with the minor repair, the appearance of this piece is so spectacular that we would expect it to do quite a bit better.<BR><I>From The Thomas M.
