<B>Fr. 190a $10 1864 Compound Interest Treasury Note PMG Very Fine 20.</B></I> Fewer than two dozen examples of this number are known, and this is one of the better ones, the majority grading Fine or under. It's a nice natural note, with no sign of the repairs or restorations that are normally virtually universal for these larger-size notes that were weakened by the bronze overprint. The bronze, while not bright, has not turned the normal green color and has kept its metallic appearance.
