Fr. 1850-I $5 1929 Federal Reserve Bank Note. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ.
This is a scarce district in general, and one from which low number examples are seldom available. Grinnell had number 22, Carter number 44, but beyond that the census thins out quickly, with the Oakes monograph listing only two other low number Minneapolis fives. Fortunately for collectors, the Flynn holdings contain this fresh and well printed example displaying low serial number I00000020A. Expect this note to bring at least double the new Schwartz & Lindquist $1250 catalogue value of a regular number note, and perhaps considerably more.
From The Thomas M.
