<B>Fr. 181 $100 1880 Legal Tender Very Fine.</B></I> This note, which displays great eye appeal, is offered here to the numismatic community for the first time and now becomes the highest serial number known. The only problem noticed on this pleasing example is a minute stain at left. Plenty of fibers dot the surface of this solidly margined note. It's only the third example of this number we have had the pleasure to offer in over six years. The last VF we had realized over $17,000 more than two years ago.
