<B>Fr. 18 $1 1869 Legal Tender PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.</B></I> Extremely common from the point of view of a raw count but quite rare at this grade level. PMG has graded 156 Fr. 18's to this date with only a single 67 grading better than this piece. This note has huge margins, absolutely perfect color and all of the attributes that one would expect for its very high grade. It also carries the extremely important PMG comment "Exceptional Paper Quality." We've handled a great many Fr. 18's over the years and are hard pressed to remember another with the vibrancy of color as well as the broad margins which this piece exhibits. The only PCGS or PMG 66 to yet auction was the PCGS 66 which we sold in September of 2006 for $10,350. This note, two years later, should easily surpass that figure.<BR><I>From The Thomas M.
