PCGS Gem New 65PPQ.</B></I><BR> A fresh and well centered example of this twentieth century star rarity that may be the nicest of its kind that we have ever offered. We have sold two Gem CU 1953B $5 stars in the past decade, one in the Taylor family collection sale in 2005 which realized $14,950, and a second graded Gem Uncirculated 66 by CGA which fetched $18,400 in September of 2006. This piece, which is graded Gem New 65PPQ by PCGS, is at least the equal of either of the two notes listed above, and arguably superior to both.
