Choice Crisp Uncirculated.</B></I><BR>This exceptionally attractive sheet would clearly be a full Gem but for the presence of a few scattered handling wrinkles, all of which are so trivial and unimportant that they are hardly worth mentioning. This ex-Irving Moskovitz Collection piece was sold as Lot 1630 of the dispersal of that fabled holding by Bowers and Ruddy in 1977 and bears the original lot tag as documentation of its pedigree. It is attractively matted next to an inscribed copy of Lincoln's Gettysburg Address with hand lettering and illumination above. The upper left note of the sheet bears serial A00000052A and the serials advance by 8000 per note vertically down the columns. The lower right note bears the autographs of Treasurer of the United States Ivy Baker Priest and Secretary of the Treasury George Humphrey, both of whose engraved signatures adorn this lovely sheet. While the Priest autograph is fresh and vivid, the Humphrey autograph has faded almost entirely.
