<B>Fr. 16 $1 1862 Legal Tender PMG Superb Gem Unc 67 EPQ.</B></I> The margins and colors of this early Ace are astounding. This note is not at all rare, even at the 65 level, but 67 examples are rare in the extreme. This note is the only one PMG has graded at this level--not only for Fr. 16, but for all four Friedberg numbers of this $1 1862 type. While it is likely that this piece will not remain unique in this grade, it is equally sure that it will never be anything but rare.
