<B>Fr. 1512 $2 1953C Specimen Legal Tender Note. PCGS Gem New 65PPQ.</B></I><BR>It is likely that sometime shortly after Kathryn O. Granahan took office in January of 1963 specimens were printed to display the new Series 1953C notes bearing her signature. This SPECIMEN was different from the Series that preceded it in that the font for the word SPECIMEN was changed and the word was used twice on either side of the note. Though this is the lowest graded of the four different Legal Tender Specimen Deuces offered here, it is no slouch.
