<B>Fr. 1509 $2 1953 Legal Tender Notes. Uncut Sheet of 18. Gem Crisp Uncirculated.</B></I><BR>Serial number 42 is found on the first note of this sheet. This is the story often told for the stoppage of uncut sheet sales, "One night the new Secretary of the Treasury George M. Humphrey was having dinner at a Washington, DC restaurant. At a nearby table a man proceeded to pull out an uncut sheet and started to cut notes off of it to pay his bill.
