<B>Fr. 145 $20 1880 Legal Tender PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ.</B></I> The two major grading services have graded only nine Fr. 145's out of the 61 pieces reported in the census. Save for this note, none of that nine is uncirculated. PMG has graded four, with a VF 20 the second-highest, behind this lone 64 EPQ. This is a number that simply does not show up uncirculated. The only four auction records of an uncirculated Fr. 142 are all for the same note that appeared four times over a spread of thirteen years. Although the total census is over 60 pieces, unc's are super rare, and this "Exceptional Paper Quality" example should be pursued vigorously.<BR><I>From The Thomas M.
