<B>Fr. 1382 Fractional Currency Shield, With Gray Background.</B></I> This is a far nicer than average Gray Shield, fully wide out beyond the points at the top sides, while the bottom point is just short of the frame. The gray background is boldly printed and all the notes are bright save for the always faded 25¢ Second Issue back. There is mucilage leakage from behind the autographed Justice note and to a lesser degree the autographed Spinner note. The four hand-signed notes are of Jeffries-Spinner on the Spinner and the 15¢ notes, while the signatures of Colby-Spinner are on the Justice and the 10¢ Third issue notes. There is some foxing while the lower left corner has a water stain that stops just short of the Shield proper.
