<B>Fr. 136 $20 1880 Legal Tender PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.</B></I> 113 examples of this number are known, including a run of about 50 uncirculated pieces, making it an affordable way to represent this beautiful type in high grade. This note, which is from that run, is one of the nicer examples. PMG has graded 56 Fr. 136's, with a single 67 the only note graded above this level. This one is a real beauty, with strong color, excellent paper originality and even margins. PMG has commented, "Exceptional Paper Quality," and noted that the note is, "Ex Donlon." We sold another PMG 66 in January of '07 for $7475 and would expect this beauty to do better.<BR><I>From The Thomas M.
