<B>Fr. 1344 50c Third Issue Justice PCGS Extremely Fine 45PPQ.</B></I> From our 2007 FUN Signature auction of the <I>Bill and Kathy Stella Currency Collection </B></I>where the description read, "This is one of the most visually pleasing "1" and "a" Red Back Justices that we have had the pleasure of handling. It has excellent margins on both sides, razor-sharp printing, bright bronze and perfect color. Three of the face margins are outlandishly large, and the much smaller right face margin would be large enough to support the Gem grade. But for a few extremely light soft folds and some minor as-made spots in the top margin, this rare piece would be Superb. An exceptional example of a rare and extremely popular number." This is the description we used when our consignor purchased the note nearly a decade ago. At that time, we graded the note XF-AU--a grade with which PCGS clearly concurs.
