<B>Fr. 132 $20 1880 Legal Tender PMG Choice Extremely Fine 45.</B></I> Forty-eight examples of Fr. 132 are listed in the February 2008 Track & Price census. As with many of Tom's notes, which were acquired over the last five decades, this note was an early enough purchase that it is not listed in the census. The total census lists only eight notes above the 45 level, several of which would likely third-party grade at this level or lower. Only two major grading service Fr. 132's above the 45 level have auctioned. We sold the finest known, a PMG 63, for $14,950 last September, and the other, a PCGS 55, was auctioned in October of '05. No Choice EF has sold since the Memphis 2000 sale, where one realized $3080. This note has simply wonderful margins, bright colors and the appearance of a Choice New example.<BR><I>From The Thomas M.
