<B>Fr. 1312 Milton 1R50.4c 50¢ First Issue Inverted Back PMG About Uncirculated 55 EPQ.</B></I> From our May 2005 sale of the Tom O'Mara Collection. It was described there, "About a half-dozen examples of this Invert are known, but most are quite heavily circulated. Milt Friedberg owned two, both of which graded Fine. This piece would be a perfect Gem but for two corner folds." Tom had acquired it from Stack's in May of 2004 at $1600, and in the sale of Tom's collection a year later, Mr. Mayer paid $2160 for it. Now, two years later, in a considerably more sophisticated market, we would not be at all surprised to see this originally embossed, beautifully bright piece realize...
