<B>Fr. 131 $20 1880 Legal Tender PMG Choice Extremely Fine 45.</B></I> A very rare Brown Seal Twenty Dollar Legal, with only 21 pieces in the census including this note, which Tom purchased in a 1991 sale. According to the Track & Price census, this note is listed as one of only two uncirculated pieces known. The other reportedly uncirculated piece has never been in a public sale. In any event, this note is certainly in the top two or three. We can clearly see why this was called Choice Uncirculated in the past. It's a beautiful piece - well margined, with excellent color and terrific eye appeal. Viewed through the third-party holder, it certainly does appear to be Choice New. Neither grading service has graded a Fr. 131 higher than 45.<BR><I>From The Thomas M.
