<B>Fr. 1235 5¢ Second Issue Choice New.</B></I> The typical fiber paper wrinkles could easily be mistaken for folds on this note, but they are not. This particular Fr. 1235 has an unusual amount of fibers including a large quantity of long, heavy maroon fibers--something that is not at all common for this issue. Paper production in 1863 was undergoing heavy experimentation at the Bureau and countless varieties exist on Second Issue Fractionals.
