Fr. 1225 $10000 1900 Gold Certificate PMG Choice Uncirculated 64. This Friedberg number had been extremely rare in high grade (and it still is rather scarce) until a group showed up in the Washington D.C. area about a dozen years ago. This note has all the hallmarks of being from that group. It is free of the damage that is so common to these notes, but it is lightly aged across the bottom and shows minor signs of having been damp. It's well margined, crackling fresh and strictly uncirculated. The PMG grade of 64 without the EPQ is likely the result of the light water staining, as the note's originality is unquestioned. Its deep original embossing is clearly seen through the holder.
From The Peter Gamble Collection.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
