It is a challenging note to grade, as it is better than Very Fine both face and back, but it has a bit of damage along the top edge. That margin is very irregular with a number of nicks, some of which barely enter the frame of the design. The bottom margin is broad with just a couple of small nicks, none of which enter the design. The lower left corner tip is rounded. The note has exceptional color for the grade on both sides, and is not at all brittle or in danger of further deterioration. After leaving the hands of the proper restorer, the note would grade a solid Very Fine, and will appear EF or better from the face. In its current condition, the best net grade for value is probably Fine or a little better.
