<B>Fr. 1200a $50 1922 Mule Gold Certificate Very Fine.</B></I> All Fr. 1200a's are Mules, with this note having back plate number 8 positioned at lower right of center up next to the finely detailed scroll work. Fr. 1200a's were issued before Fr. 1200's, and 1200's outnumber 1200a's by more than five to one in the census. Fr. 1200a's were not added to the Friedberg reference until the 1992 13th edition.
