<B>Fr. 1195 $50 1882 Gold Certificate Very Fine-Extremely Fine.</B></I> This is the lowest recorded serial number in the census and lacks any information beyond just a serial number. It first appeared at public auction in 1989 and we are pleased to say that it has retained its originality. Bold colors are still present on every design element and the embossing of the serial numbers is still readily apparent when viewed from the back. Moreover, the margins are broad and even, adding to the overall eye appeal. A lone pinhole is noted, but is completely lost in the originality.
