<B>Fr. 1068 $50 1914 Federal Reserve Note PCGS Very Choice New 64.</B></I> While lower grade examples of this Friedberg number hardly rank as scarce, uncirculated specimens are just plain rare, with just three such notes listed in the Gengerke census, one of which is impounded in the collection of the San Francisco Federal Reserve Bank while another, graded "uncirculated," was offered in an internet auction in 2000 and has not been seen since. This attractive piece bears the grade of Very Choice New 64 awarded by PCGS, and may well be the finest Fr. 1068 to exist.
