<B>Fr. 1041 $50 1914 Federal Reserve Note PMG Very Fine 30.</B></I> Tom acquired this note in a November 2004 auction for $4600. It's one of only thirteen pieces listed by Track & Price, and it is the third finest among them. PMG has graded a handful of examples, with this 30 being the highest yet graded. To this date, not a single third-party graded 1041 has reached the auction block. This solid VF will be the first piece. PMG has called the note, "Toned," which strikes us as a bit random, as we've seen far darker without this comment, though the note is lightly toned.<BR><I>From The Thomas M.
