<B>Fr. 1015b $50 1914 Red Seal Federal Reserve Note PMG Choice Very Fine 35.</B></I> We sold a raw Choice New example on a weaker market for these a couple of years ago for $12,100. This certified Choice Very Fine example would be a favorite for a collector looking to fill in this Friedberg number but who doesn't care about the technical uncirculated state. Only seven examples are listed in Track & Price. Tom's note is new to the census, raising that total to eight. Two of those eight are permanently impounded: one in the Smithsonian and one in the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. As no note has reached any public auction since we handled that uncirculated example in 2001, according to Track & Price, that collector had better act now.<BR><I>From The Thomas M.
