<B>Fr. 1014b $50 1914 Red Seal Federal Reserve Note Fine-Very Fine.</B></I> This $50 is an old friend from our September 1996 auction. It is easily a lot closer to the high-end of the split grade with just a couple of extra folds away from the full VF grade level. The census reveals that this is one of only eight serial numbers listed for this Friedberg number and two of those notes are in government collections. In fact, since we sold this note in 1996, we have been able to offer only one other example and that was in 1998.
