Four Wild Animal Themed Bronze Sculptures
1) The model is by P.J. Mene (French 1810-1871). Magnificent polychrommed bronze of a standing young fox looking attentive standing on grassy meadow that rests on custom black marble plinth. Signed on base. Approximately 24" x 23" x 10" overall. 2) Cougar crouching on ground signed by H. Shrady (Am 1871-1922) on the base. This finely cast bronze shows a cougar or panther lying on the ground under a foliate camouflage covering approaching her prey. Mounted on a black marble rectangular base. Approximately 32" x 8" x 8" overall. 3) Henry M. Shrady (Am 1871-1922) signed polychrommed bronze of a standing moose. The moose is standing on a rocky crag with one hoof up looking into the distance. Great coloring, rests on a custom black marble plinth. Measures approximately 20" x 12" x 21". 4) Finely cast polychrommed bronze of two stags fighting, after the model by Cartier (Fr 19th C). Signed and numbered "MARIUS 2007/ 63 of 500"(Am 20th C) on the cast black rectangular marble base. Measures approximately 33" x 7" x 13" overall.
