<B>Great Grouping of Four Postal Covers Each Signed by Richard E. Byrd.</B></I> Four assorted covers including: Air Mail cover postmarked "USS CURRITUCK ANTARTIC EXPEDITION 46 47"; a cover bearing a stamp honoring the Byrd Antartic Expedition II and postmarked "U.S.S. Mount Olympus Feb 1 1947 AM" and an "Operation Highjump" stamp; an air mail cover with a "Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce Welcome Home Byrd Antarctic Expedition July 1, 1930" stamp and a postal cancellation stamp "Philadelphia, PA July 1, 1930, 9 AM"; and finally an attractive cover bearing a clear portrait of Byrd in a fir trimmed hood and coat and bearing a postal cancellation from Grand Rapids, Michigan dated Nov. 17, 1930.
