<B>Four Items Pertaining To Artistic Americans,</B></I> as follows:<BR><B>Thomas Ball ADS,</B></I> two pages, 6"x 8", Florence, March 23, 1891. A listing of thirty-eight individuals slated to receive "<I>gift copies</B></I>" of a publication. Light aging, fine condition. Ball, a renowned sculptor, created the Freedman's Monument in Washington, DC.<BR><B>Benson J. Lossing ALS,</B></I> two pages, 5" x 7.25", Dover Plains, New York, to unknown recipient. Fine condition. Lossing (1813-1891) was well-known for his woodcuts featuring historical events.<BR><B>Wallace Nutting Autograph Card,</B></I> reading, "<I>Sincerely yours Wallace Nutting June 1938,</B></I>" 5" x 2". Mounted to larger board, else fine condition. Nutting is best known for his colorized photographs of rustic American subjects.<BR><B>Louis Palma Di Cesnola ALS,</B></I> one page on Metropolitan Museum of Art letterhead, 5.75" x 9", New York City, March 28, 1885. Very fine condition. An Italian-born archaeologist celebrated for his excavations on Cyprus, Di Cesnola was a former Union officer and Medal of Honor recipient. <I>From the collection of Henry E.
