A) WWII U.S. M9 Hand Flare Projector. Introduced in 1942. Breech is marked "U.S. PROPERTY" and "AMP CO / PROJECTOR PYROTECHNIC / HAND M-9".

Condition: Very fine. The hand projector retains 90% original blue finish with some minor oxidation and some minor handling marks with a few minor gouges, will clean up better.

B) Larger version, left side of the barrel is marked "USN" over the two line R.F. Sedgley address over "MARK IV", barrel lug marked 8-31-43 over serial number 13063. Checkered molded grips with only the "S" (letters "U" and "N" removed perhaps for surplus sales). With lanyard.

Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 95% thinning original finish with some minor flaking. The bakelite is very fine with some minor handling marks matching barrel and frame. The checkering is crisp.

C) Interesting rotating barrel with locking lugs breech. Barrel has the one line "LAKE ERIE, CHEMICAL CLEVELAND OHIO," marked on the top and underside, patent, marking on the chamber. One piece checkered hard rubber grip with "S" imprints.

Condition: Excellent. The pistol retains 95% original blue finish showing some thinning to a brown and some minor flaking. There is a minor missing chip and a few minor notches on the butt, otherwise the hard rubber is fine with some minor scratches. Overall the checkering is crisp.

D) Interesting variation with aluminum frame. Left side of barrel marked "COSTON-SEDGLEY" with the patent marking on left side of frame. Checkered grip area, with circled "S" on both sides.

Condition: Very good. The barrel has a smooth brown patina and the breech retains 95% original blue finish with some minor spotting. The aluminum is in the original silver finish, has some minor handling marks with a few dents.
